BMW i8 Mirrorless Car

BMW i8 mirrorless car drives without mirrors. Is it really possible to still drive a car comfortably without any mirror inside and outside of the car? BMW i8 replaces traditional door and rear-view mirrors with camera monitor system that offers BMW drivers a pioneering form of rear view. The driver can also choose between manual or self-driven mode. The big screen in front of the passenger can even be used for video calls during autonomous mode with the passenger and driver having unrestricted web access. BMW i8 has no buttons inside, they are replaced by the latest version of gesture control, called AirTouch. Dashboard sensors can read and reply to hand movements, controlling this way the big screen, with 2 switches located on the steering wheel and in front of the passenger for them to confirm their commands.
