“I am just trying to pay my fine.” lols. “Can I have a receipt please?”. He says “Is cash alright?” and she answers “Yeah that’s fine” And that’s exactly what she got. Do you see any problem with that?. Parking meters also accepts coins -and it is a legal tender what that guy is paying so they have to take it. It’s all fun and games till ya have to sit there and count the little coins shit. That sucks but its actually a great way to get rid of unwanted Pennies, Nickels & Dimes. 🙂

In the US, valid coins are legal tender. It can’t be refused for payments such as fines or citation. The receiving clerk has to count all of it if necessary.
