This Next Generation Robot Atlas Is Harrassingly Provoked By Boston Dynamics Scientist

Published on February 24, 2016 by techtica

Boston Dynamics created this humanoid robot named “Atlas”. It was designed to operate inside buildings and outdoors. Atlas is 5′ 9″ tall and weighs 180 lbs and makes very human-like movements. It uses sensores in its body, legs and head to balance and to avoid obstacles, walk freely and make a good picture of its surroundings. In this video this next generation robot is harrassingly provoked by Boston Dynamics scientist. See how it reacts. I think it got pissed off and quit at the end, went out slamming the door behind it. One thing which is missing though, is Atlas can not fight back. May be we would see this feature in the next coming version of Atlas. 🙂
